These terms apply to orders for PROFDOORS goods and services. Consumer protection provisions apply to individuals purchasing for purposes outside their business or profession.

2. Placing an order

Before confirming an order, the buyer receives information about the selected goods, included components, price, payment arrangements and delivery or manufacturing lead time.

For custom orders, we agree the dimensions, finish, colour, opening direction, hardware and other required specifications in writing. Before approval, the buyer should check the specification and tell us about any necessary corrections.

3. Measurements and finishes

Door dimensions must account for the finished floor level, wall thickness and planned finishes. Measurements supplied by the buyer must reflect the actual and planned conditions at the property.

Please promptly inform PROFDOORS of changes to openings, walls or floor levels after measurement or order approval. Necessary changes, additional costs and revised lead times are agreed separately.

Colours displayed on a screen may differ from the actual finish. We recommend choosing colours and materials using physical samples. The agreed finish or colour code is recorded in the order.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are stated in euros. Before confirming the order, we provide the total payable amount, applicable taxes and charges for agreed additional services.

The deposit and arrangements for paying the balance are stated in the quotation, invoice or contract. Payment methods are described in “Ordering and payment information”. Subsequent website price changes do not alter an already agreed order price.

5. Manufacturing and order changes

Manufacturing lead times are agreed for each order. Custom specifications must be approved and the required deposit paid before the order is submitted for production.

Changes after submission for production depend on the stage of manufacture. Changes, their costs and revised lead times are agreed in writing before implementation. We notify the buyer of any anticipated delay and agree the next steps while respecting their statutory rights.

6. Delivery and receipt

Delivery charges, location and timing are agreed separately. Carrying goods inside, upstairs and installation are included only where stated in the quotation.

On receipt, please check the supplied components and visible damage. Where possible, record any damage on the delivery document and take photographs. Failure to record damage on receipt does not, by itself, remove the statutory right to make a claim.

Further details are provided in “Delivery information”.

7. Installation and use

The scope, price and date of installation are agreed separately. Goods must be installed, used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Installation by a third party does not, by itself, remove statutory rights concerning product quality. When assessing a claim, we consider the cause of the problem, including the effects of installation, use or storage. We are responsible for work performed by PROFDOORS in accordance with applicable law.

8. Withdrawal and returns

Consumers purchasing goods under a distance contract have a 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to statutory exceptions. This right does not apply to goods made to individual specifications or clearly personalised goods.

The full procedure and withdrawal form are provided in “Returns and refunds”. These conditions do not restrict claims concerning non-conforming goods.

9. Product quality and claims

Consumers may make a claim concerning non-conforming goods or services within two years of receipt and within two months of discovering the non-conformity.

Where a commercial guarantee is provided, its conditions are stated in the guarantee document. A commercial guarantee does not restrict statutory consumer rights.

Send your claim to info@profdoors.lv with your contact details, order information, a description of the problem and the remedy requested. Attach a copy of your proof of purchase and, where possible,
